Open-Xchange source and object code related to the PROGRAM or Server Pack continues to be licensed under GNU General Public License, Version 2 from the Free Software Foundation. Open-Xchange can be accessed via rich open source clients such as KDE Kontact. KDE Kontact can be downloaded at http://www.kontact.org/download.

 The Open-Xchange Web Pack is licensed under the Creative Commons License 2.5, Attribution-Noncommercial-ShareAlike. More information on the Creative Commons License is available at www.creativecommons.org or on the Disclaimer and Licenses page of this website. The Creative Commons License pertains to DIGITAL CONTENT such as text, images, video and audio that are viewable and/or executable using a browser. Open-Xchange's interpretation of the Noncommercial restrictions is described on the Disclaimer and Licenses page.

 To make the download process easier, Open-Xchange has released a Convenience Pack that includes both the PROGRAM (Server Pack) and the DIGITAL CONTENT (Web Pack).

 The difference between the Convenience, Server, Web packs is the license form. The Convenience Pack is licensed under GPL and CC. The Server Pack is pure GPL. The Web Pack is under the Creative Commons by nc-sa.

 Open-Xchange Server 0.8.2 is giving community members the enhancements found in Service Pack 1 for the commercial version of Open-Xchange Server 5. For details see the changes. Older releases are available from the archive download site.
